    MINUTES

A motion to approve the minutes from the November Meeting with no corrections was made by Deb Hamling and seconded by Shawna Hilbert.

From now on, meeting invitations will be attached to an Outlook Meeting Invite.  Simply reply with Accept, Tentative or Decline.  This way, it will show up on your calendar as a reminder and also helps us with a head count.

TREASURER’S REPORT   The Treasurer’s Report from November and December, 2016 was presented by Kathryn Ackman (attached).   A motion to approve the Treasurer’s report with no corrections was made by Deb Hamling and seconded by Mike Ogilvie.

    MEMBERSHIP

If you have not had a chance to renew your CAHRA membership, please do so ASAP.  A Membership Renewal form is attached.  If you are a SHRM Member, no fees are due; otherwise, membership is $50.  Please return renewal forms to Kathryn Ackman, CAHRA c/o NPPD, PO Box 499, Columbus NE  68602.

As an incentive to attend CAHRA Meetings and join a committee, every time you attend a CAHRA meeting your name will go into the hat and if you participate on a committee, your name will be put in twice.  All names will go into a drawing for a free State Conference Registration.

Members are encouraged to bring a guest to the monthly meetings.  Guests who attend three CAHRA meetings throughout the year will automatically become a CAHRA member for the remainder of the year at no additional charge.
